Alex Skidmore is a music producer based in Denver, Colorado. He began his career in middle school by creating various loop tracks using Logic Pro and seeking out any information he could find about the program. He has always loved electronic music in all its forms and has discovered various methods to create it, such as learning multiple types of synthesis (analog/patch, wavetable, granular, sample), and has built an arsenal of plugins that shape his sound. He is proficient in several DAWs, including Logic Pro, Pro Tools, and Ableton. Currently, he is studying recording arts at CU Denver. As an artist, he oversees multiple musical projects (Unknown Beat, HYPR REAL, Atomsphere, and C O W) and has produced various genres, such as House, Trance, Bass, Hyperpop, and Lofi Hiphop. In addition to music production, he also has a passion for DJing. He has performed at various shows, including Supernatural, and has played around the Denver area. He has collaborated with many local artists and continues to seek out local talent to work with. He owns a record label, REAL UNKNOWN RECORDS, and has partnered with his peer to create Singularity Music Works to assist others throughout all stages of the music creation process.
